Book Sale

The Friends of the Library Book Sale is a wonderful fundraiser held in the Community Room of the Library annually.  Book donations are taken at the Library all year and items that cannot be used in our collections are donated to the Friends of the Library for this wonderful sale.  There are so many great books, ranging from non-fiction to children's books, and all of your favorite authors will probably be available.  These books are in great shape and the prices are very affordable!  The Friends of the Library often offer their cookbooks and Alleghany Highlands Regional Library Book Bags at the checkout table.  All proceeds from this sale are used to help the Library with unbudgeted expenses and Library programs.  It is a wonderful cause and a wonderful opportunity.  The sale is usually held the second weekend of August, so check our calendar for dates and times as it gets closer.

A small display of books is available for purchase year-round in the Library.  Ask at the Circulation Desk for more information!
